January 22, USAC counsel presents the second round of Oral Arguments in the Constitutional Rights (Provo River) case. On January 31, USAC counsel files its Expert Report providing evidence of commercial use of the Weber River in support of its Navigability lawsuit in the Third District Court of Utah.

On February 15, USAC holds its first rally on the steps of the State Capital to encourage members of the Utah Legislature to vote NO on HB68 (Rep. Kay McKiff’s bill that would put limits on the public trust doctrine, prohibiting it to be applied to the waters of the State – as a way to do an “end-run” around and preemptively defeat USAC’s efforts in the courts)
