As you may have heard, yesterday, May 21, 2012, Judge Derek Pullan of Utah’s 4th District Court issued a ruling on the Utah Stream Access Coalition’s Public Waters (Provo River) lawsuit.
To help our members understand the implications of the ruling, we are scheduling a meeting of the general membership with the USAC legal team. This meeting will take place Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 7:00PM at the Murray City Library Auditorium (166 East, 5300 South). We hope you can attend.
Meanwhile, please note:The ruling did NOT overturn the existing law. Any questions regarding where you can and cannot legally fish should be directed to Utah’s Division of Wildlife Resources (DWR), who, along with local authorities, are tasked with enforcing the existing law.Telephone numbers for the DWR and its regional offices can be found here:

We thank you for your continued support throughout this ongoing battle, and look forward to seeing you at Thursday’s meeting.
